Founders and co-owners Ford and Ciola called upon their robust restaurant industry experience to create The League. Ciola began with the local favorite Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza in Hill Country Galleria, and is a third-generation restaurateur. Already Ford works for such prominent restaurant companies as Rudy’s Bar-B-Q and Johnny Carino’s Italian, and is a current partner in the advertising and branding firm of PMG Austin.
Their passion and flair for high-quality food and customer service have driven their success, and at The League these qualities culminate in a sublime dining experience.
EXECUTIVE CHEF / LOUIS CIOLA
Third generation chef, Louis Ciola discovered his culinary aspirations while washing dishes at his family’s restaurant in a small town in Minnesota. He went on to earn a degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, before becoming Executive Chef at the iconic Italian restaurant in Austin, Ciola’s Italian-American Restaurant.
In 2010, Louie moved to Minneapolis to continue building his impressive résumé, working alongside James Beard Best Chef Midwest, Tim McKee, at award winning La Belle Vie. He also spent time with James Beard Best Chef Midwest Finalist Lucia Watson of Lucia’s.
Louie joined the Tc4 & Co. team in early 2014 and will serve as Executive Chef. He will head up all aspects of the culinary front for Tc4 concepts as well as our clients.
